Thanksgiving Chicken Pot Pie Recipe
Happy Thanksgiving week from our family to yours! One of my favorite things to do this time of year is cooking and baking. My daughter loves chicken pot pie and it is just the perfect thing to make when the sun is down early and everyone wants a home cooked meal. (Did I mention that this is a super easy recipe?) I'm glad to share my chicken pot pie "secret" recipe with you all... Enjoy!
Chicken Pot Pie
•Cooked and shredded chicken (can use a store bought rotisserie chicken)
•one can Cream of Chicken soup
•two cans of mixed vegetables (I like Veg-all) - drained
•one double 9 inch pie crust
•Preheat oven to 350 degrees
•mix together chicken, soup and vegetables.
•place first pie crust in the bottom of a pie dish and add the chicken mixture.
•top the chicken mixture with the second pie crust- cut a few slits on the top of the crust and pinch the sides
•Bake for 30 minutes or until the crust is a golden brown.
So easy- and so yummy. Stay warm!!!
